Video: "Cultural Differences National Geographic"

This video is a segment of a documentary from The National Geographic Society about a group of young Sudanese men who travel to Pittsburgh (U.S.A.). We can see the heavy cultural difference for them, used to the African culture.

Funny demographic video: "If the World Were a Village of 100 People: A Story About the World's People"

Watch this funny video about what if the current world´s population would be a village of 100 people.... very good to have a quick general overview of Mankind today from a demographic point of view.

Video: "La población española"

A new video about the evolution of population is Spain. Its interest lays on to include the demographic transition model, and a longer historical perspective (since Ancient and Medieval times, not just from 1,970).

Presentation: "Pirámides de población de España: 1900 a 2007"

In this presentation you can notice the evolution of the population pyramid in Spain along the last four decades (since 1,970, aproximately). As we have explained in the class, in this period Spain has experienced major changes on its population structure.

Video from the U.N.E.D.: "Envejecimiento, longevidad y población"

This video, produced by the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (U.N.E.D.) is closely related with the Unit 1 ("Population", inside the Human Geography field) in our book. More accurately, it is about the demographic changes in Spain on the last four decades. It is actually an excellent complement in order to secure and to clear these contents.
